Keyboard question (MCR r21)

So I finally rooted my phone and flashed MoDaCo's Custom Rom r21 (not the Desire port). So far I really like it.

I do have one question though. How do I switch keyboards? Right now I'm using the built-in HTC IME keyboard but I'd like to switch to my swype keyboard. I have swype installed and the box is checked in the Settings-->Language & Keyboard Settings menu, but when I get in a text field, I can't seem to get to the keyboard selection screen. You know the one that would list Swype, HTC, Android after pressing the bottom left key on the screen.

Any ideas how to get to that?

I totally stroked out and forgot you had to hold down on a text box, not on a specific key. All good now :-)
