MAC users?

Great job Stephen! Just got my Nexus 4 days ago and Im so anxious to flash it! Mine is already unlock.

I went to youtube and watched John from Droiddog.com Although its very informative, Im still hesitant to do it coz his videos are so small I cant see what he was typing on the Mac terminal.

Can someone help me with if there's any Mac users here?

My computer no longer recognizes fastboot as a command. It says fastboot: not found. What now? I'm trying to flash Amon_RA's recovery image.

My computer only recognizes the N1 as a device if it's fully booted up and the sd card is mounted. Otherwise, my computer doesn't see it.

I fixed the problem. If you're using a mac, you have to download the fastboot-mac file and use the command fastboot-mac devices to find yours, then fastboot-mac blah blah blah....

If you aren't using a mac, there isn't much I can say.

Are you sure of that? I'm running CM 5.0.5.3 and himem is working ok for me... Go to Settings > Applications > Running Services
Now, look at the bottom...you should have something that looks like this (circled in red):

That will tell you exactly how much memory you've got free...

I hope this is the right place to post this question:

I just installed Modaco's Desire Sense ROM. I have up to four listings of many people into my contacts list. Is there a way for me to easily combine these records in Sense like there is in regular Android?

Thanks

Thanks USSR. I'll do that next time I flash the Desire ROM. It was a little too laggy for me so i switched back to Cyanogen. I love the UI though. Once there is a beta I'll be all over it.
