How do i extract the sdk file. I have windows and the winzip free trial version pops up.

Thanks. Last question. My computer randomly shut off today. It normally doesn't but if for some reason it did while rooting will my phone break? Thanks for your time greatly appreciated.

i'm using a PC. A dell with windows if that makes a difference.

Also are you running Windows 7 x64?

This thread deserves to be stickied, pinned, emailed to every forum member, ANYTHING to get the word out. I had the worst luck trying to root last night, and not only did stephen help me out as much as he could, but once I started following this guide, I got done with no hiccups. I wish I had followed this from the beginning.

Thank you again Stephen for all the help, and for creating such a user-friendly guide.
