I am in the same boat. My battery is just getting killed in standby mode with cyanogen.

Sorry for such a noob questions, but how does one install this diet kernal? I cannot seem to find a guide about this (only how to install cyanogen)

I don't mind wiping.

edit: I found this but do not know what it means.

[power off your phone and boot into fastboot]
on command prompt: c://n1/tools fastboot flash zimage zImage
[reboot] (normaly)
on command prompt: c://n1/tools adb remount
on command prompt: c://n1/tools adb push bcm4329.ko /system/lib/modules/bcm4329.ko

Strange about your battery issues with Cyan. I have been unplugged for 3 hours, surfed the internet on wifi and a few speedtest.net runs and have 92% battery still.

Now 12 hours and 60% battery with moderate internet / calls.

First you have to unzip the file and put zImage and bcm4329.ko in your tools folder. You will just have to check to see what directory your tools folder is under. Mine is under c:\androidsdk\tools , yours might be different, just depends on what the name of your file is and where you have it.

So my commands would be

In fastboot mode
cd c:\androidsdk\tools
fastboot flash zimage zImage

and after reboot (or you can do it in Recovery mode)

cd c:\androidsdk\tools
adb remount
adb push bcm4329.ko /system/lib/modules

Exclamation Multiple message error

Hey guys, hopefully one of you can supply an answer to this puzzling problem.

Im using the MoDaCo Custom Desire ROM Port r22.1, SSH.
Browser Version WebKit 3.1
Build Number Passion User 2.1-update1 ERE27 24178 release-keys

The problem - Whenever I send a text message that consists of more than 1 message, i.e. the message requires 2+ texts to send, my phone does not send the whole message, only the first text's part.

I receive the error message..
"Unable to send message after multiple attempts"

This is making things rather awkward and I love using this Desire rom, so much better than the standard nexus one rom, even froyo update didnt seem as appealing to me personally.

Can you please help me with this issue??

Many thanks for any help/advice in advance.

MJ
