Thanks guys. The hardest part for me was figuring out how to create a .bash_profile on my macbook. It about drove me nuts I tell ya. In the end it was all my fault as I was adding spaces or not adding spaces when entering commands in terminal. In the end I just copied and pasted from the mac tutorial I found online. Thanks for your support.

I'm on Step 7 and have a question about wiping data.

Step 7c. Select Wipe from the Amon-RA main menu then select Wipe data/factory reset.

I am in Recovery Mode and was able to select Wipe and then in the next menu I see Wipe only /data. I do not see factory reset. If I choose Data is that the same as what you're talking about?

Hello

i got kinda stuck at step 7... i think i downloaded needed files from
Google Addon HDPI-20101114 - CyanogenMod Forum
update-cm-6.0.0-N1-signed.zip - CyanogenMod Forum
not really sure if that is what i needed to download anyways when trying to flash the 2nd file which i think is the cyanogen rom? it fails at flashing it
and my question is: is this the correct file?
but yeah could anyone help me out here?

EDIT:
nevermind downloaded 6.1 RC1 and flashed it successfully

glad you got it

normally you flash the rom first then gapps (google addons). if you did that, great. wasn't sure with how you worded it

go back into your recovery and do a backup now. also bu your apps with titanium backup. good idea to bu your sdcard too.

i flashed the gapps after it failed to flash rom v6.0
but then i cleared everything and flashed 6.1RC1 and it worked probably something wrong with 6.0

thanks for answer anyways
