Open ROM Manager and select DOWNLOAD ROM>CyanogenMod>Cyanogen 6.0.0 RC3
I could probably say that CM6 is just as stable at 5 . I know that may be a far reach as CM5 is a final release and CM6 RC3 isn't. However, CM6 RC3 is VERY stable and to be honest, you most likely won't experience any issues with RC3.All I can say is, what are you waiting for?

Hi team, I get to step 6b i run the cmd fastboot flash part and i get the two okay messages using the RA-nexus cyanogen version. I then jump on the phone use the fastboot reboot and get to the Hboot screen and go to recovery and hit the power button the Nexus boot screen shows up with the unlocked padlock underneath it and then the screen goes black.
Tryed reflashing RA-nexus-cyan and then also tryed clockwork which also said okay twice in the command prompt. But after going to the hboot then recovery and hitting the power button it just went to a Nexus bootscreen with unlocked padlock followed by black screen. same as before. Any ideas? Phone still reboots as normal if i dont hold down any buttons, any other information you guys need? |

EDIT: Seems the problem is caused by the new SLCD screens which come in all new Nexus ones.
FIX for the above problem of getting a blank screen at step 6b you need to get v1.8.0.1 which you can find here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=771507 and then go back to 5a and use the new img you have grabbed from above link Last edited by Paybac; 10-12-2010 at 03:24 AM. |

Woot! Finally unlocked my bootloader. Took me a while but I finally did it using the method in the OP.
Now for some radio fun.
