When you clicked on SDK-setup, below Available packages on the left hand side, there is a settings section. Select settings. Under Misc. Check Force Http://.......

i had this problem, for reference I reinstalled the java jdk, and removed all my old ones. This fixed java, and enabled https support, allowing me to download.

Make sure you install the usb drivers once you install them through SDK.

You have to plug in your Nexus to the comp. It will give you a INSTALLING DRIVERS popup, then say the correct driver could not be found.

Go into your c://android file or whatever file has all your SDK files, and select the USB driver folder.

It should install the driver, and you should successfully have the drivers installed.
