I love it! It's everything everybody says, fast, stable, and full of goodies. I was very nervous to trying it, but there is nothing to it, hardest part was locate the files But thanks to you here that was a breeze too.

I was absolutely stunned by the vivid green led (only color I have seen so far), I thought you'd barely see the difference from white but it is lovely.

It was a great decision to root, wish I'd done it sooner but I really dreaded it. Now, if I can do it, anybody can! What's everybody waiting foh!

PS how do I activate this flash torch everybody talks about?

Goto Market
Search Torch
Get: Nexus One Torch (Fourth one down on my search)
It will ask for Super User Permssion, allow allow, and that's it.

Don't look at it... It'll blind you.. haha...

Yes, if you follow the instructions it asks you to do a wipe that cleans EVERYTHING OFF the N1. A factory reset leaves all the downloaded programs on the Market, but on Custom Rom wipe, it will not be there, so I had to refind and redownload everything. Luckily I had a list of all the apps I use and got it back easily.

Does anyone noticed the battery life, high percentage is being used by Android System more than stock ROM? Is it because custom ROM is using more battery or is it because custom ROM scales back display consumption of battery?

Confirmed, I had made a backup of all my files using Astro, but did not need that in the end. All my purchases showed up as "Purchased" so I could just re-download everything from the Market, as well as new stuff Downloading the torch now

Oh and another nice thing: most apps must have used the SD card to store their settings, because most of them such as CoPilot still had all the settings from before!
