I'm not worried about updates at this point.

When the first update came out for the Nexus, I was SO impatient and un-willing to wait for the OTA update, I just snatched it off XDA and did it manually. I will be doing this again when the next update comes out.

For those of you who have gotten Cyanogen and the trackball Succession app, if you are worried about the constant trackball flashing draining the battery, you want to look into LED HACK.

Its free on the marketplace, and is compatible with Nexus on Cyanogen. You can set it so you can choose to turn off the trackball/LED notifications if you wanna save battery. And you can also set it, so it turns off the trackball colors after 8pm or whenever its plugged into dock/charger.

They were talking about the trackball succession draining battery, so the LED HACK helps control it when needed.

Ah! Saw that. All the radio image updates are confusing me, so i'm avoiding trying to update it at this point.

I'm having some issues with data not working even when I have 3g/H coverage..... But from the looks of the forum, it seems like the newest radio image is giving people more problems.

I think I might just wait for the newest Cyanogen to come out, and he will include the newest/best radio image in the update.

My question is for other rooted nexus users! Now that I have root on my phone, what do you recommend as far as apps/roms/anything that is interesting? Been searching around and finding various root apps, but I'm a bit lost as I'm still somewhat new to the rooting.
Hey NeonMonster, have you overclocked since you rooted? I just did it, seems stable.

Good luck. Key to remember is once you have Amon RA's recovery flashed is to access it you no longer press track ball and power up, instead you press volume down and power up.

I think that happened to me. Did you try pulling the battery out and put it back in, and power back up again?
