rooting
when rooting your phone and extracting roms ect.. If i use winzip (evaluation version) will i still be able to root or do you need to pay for it or is there another software to use?

please i would really appreciate feed back from those who have rooted there phone. This is one of the only questions i have. Also how long should i wait until i root to make sure there's no hardware defects?

Ditta on the no unzipping. But the main reason I'm posting is because..who the heck pays for winzip!? Anyway winRAR rules!
