720p (or higher) Playback
I'm looking to playback my 720p rips on my N1. I've found a few apps that play MKVs but none can really cope with all that Data. Its most likely a hardware limitation, but I'm hoping it might be a codec issue.
Anyone know if its possible? I'm not interested in converting, as I usually go on random trips, so I can't plan my encoding ahead, plus I got a big SD card I'd like to use anyway. Suggestions? |

Have you tried Rockplayer from the market? Not sure if this helps because I dont watch movies on my N1 but its worth a Shot.

I just convert mkv files to mp4 on my mac with handbrake software. Simpler than buggin up with several android apps...
 and the transcoding is fast.
