Music Files Recognition
This is a discussion on Music Files Recognition within the Nexus One Audio / Video forums, part of the Nexus One Discussion category; OK....so i have like 3000 songs on my n1 stored in a folder 'Music' on the SD card. I also have like a dozen games ...

Music Files Recognition
OK....so i have like 3000 songs on my n1 stored in a folder 'Music' on the SD card. I also have like a dozen games on the SD card. the problem is...whichever player i use (stock,winamp,powerAmp,etc),they all show sound files from the game folders too. Its damn irritating...because i see files with weird names filling up my whole library. Is there any way to select which folders i want scanned for my music collection?

With 3rd party music apps you can specify a folder, powerAMP does this, go to settings and specify only your music folder.
