Garmin Navigation for NexusOne?

garmin is coming out with the garmin phone.... any one heard about a garmin navigation app for the nexus one?

as of the moment... nav is only available in the US/UK... garmin devices work almost everywhere (as long as you get maps)

any ideas?

I recommend you get Alk CoPilot, I had Garmin on my old Nokia phones but CoPilot is so much better in my opinion.

Just a note though, CoPilot currently isn't working with Android 2.2 (Froyo), they know about it and are working on a fix. Works perfectly with all other versions though and its nice and cheap. Gives you the full features of any market leading sat nav, I love it.

I'll check it out, but I will say this my Garmin Nuvi blows the Google Navigator away for interface and ease of use. If they ported their Nuvi software to the Android market, I'd probably buy it sight unseen.

I wonder how difficult it would be to "rip" the nav app from that phone and make it work standalone. I guess it's pretty challenging, otherwise I'm pretty sure it would have been done already XD
