New chat system coming to android

Well, the app is named Whats App, its a chat system that uses the numbers of your contacts list to chat, so if a friend that u have on the contact list have the app on the phone (iphone or blackberry now, Android and ovi its coming soon) u can chat with him using data network (3G/edge).

The best part is that u dont have to add people, but i really dont see any innovation on that... if you want to chat... just use eBuddy or Meebo or something like that....

I know a few people that went from BB to iPhone and use it. I hear it's a pretty good alternative to BBM.

Nice! I see myself getting this app. Any idea how soon the android market will get this?

I heard that they were developing a version for android for some time. Emailed them but they just said they just replied that they are working on it.

I never understood the hold chat thing for iphones and blackberrys. Hell use SMS or google talk. That's just my opinion.

I think that the big pros of this app is the file "sharing" system... u can send files to contacts

That would be genius... I've been looking for the Android alternative for BBM since i got the phone. This looks like a keeper
