visual voicemail for TMobile issue

It gets stuck at getting account info. Anyone else experience this issue?

I am having the same problem. The reps tellme that visual voicemail is on my account and to wait 48 hours and call Google support.

I had a chat with them yesterday about this. They have to add it to your account. Don't contact Google support, they can't help you with this. The application is developed and supported by Tmobile, it's their responsibility. To get it working on my phone, the rep had to open a ticket to their engineering department who got it working within an hour or two.

I just got it fixed on my phone.

I have called them 6 times and this time I got a lady with her head in the right place.

I told her that it will not be able to automatically be added and she needed to update the IMEI number. I then told her to wait on the line for a bit so it can update. (we had a humorous conversation about her son) then voila, it was able to be manually added to my account and now it works great.

The lesson here is, be persistent. I spoke with 5 people previously about this and eveybody said it was added when it wasn't. Just keep trying and good luck!

I have read that Google voice utilizes call forwarding to send the voicemails. That uses up minutes if its not a night or weekend.
