Thank you, I will try it out when I get my phone. Unfortunately I will have to wait a very long time for the Verizon version of it as T-Mobile has no 3G in my area

I have some weird behavior here, when i kill tasks with adv. task killer, and then longpress the home key, the apps still exist in my "alt-tab" menu, so i am suspicious that it isnt really killing them. When I used the adv. task killer on the droid, they wouldnt be in the alt-tab space after being killed.
anyone else can confirm this? |

the long press home button doesn't show you the apps currently running. it shows you the most recent apps you used. that's why it still shows the apps even though you killed them.

How much free memory do you guys have after running a task killer. With no apps open, I show Available Memory at 91M. Is there anything else running in the background using so much memory???

ATK is not needed... Android OS manages the memory with unneeded help.
You can back out of app or some can exit with the menu key>>Exit/Close |

I am a bit new to this and did not quite understand. In the top left hand corner I still have a bunch of checks showing which I assume are running applications. I still can not figure out how to close them.
