I would also be interested in this. Just curious tho, what kind of filter are you talking about exactly?

I am looking for something to filter out all the junk on the internet such as spam and porn. I know they have a version of safeeyes for the iPhone, maybe they are developing one for the android OS.

Yeah thats the kind of filter I want. Here's what I found when looking into Safe Eyes for Android.

Is Safe Eyes Mobile compatible with Android phones?: Safe Eyes Mobile - InternetSafety.com

So you could click on the feedback and send them a suggestion for it

App Lock Solution

For those of you concerned about accessing porn on your Android device like I am, there is a solution. It sucks that there are no current web filters for the Android and I hope one is developed soon. In the meantime you can lock access to the browser, setting up a password to access it. You could just give the password to a trusted friend (or your spouse) and just ask them for the password when there is something you want to get on the internet for.

I know this sounds really limiting but it is worth it if you are pursuing purity (honoring God, your body, and your current/future wife). There are a few different options available to App locks so find one that fits. Here are some links to a couple of them:

App Safe (Free)

It should also be mentioned that when at home (on wlan) one can use a dns proxy, like opendns, to secure you entire lan from all sorts of sites, by content/genre, or even whitelist/blacklist, in addition to full logging of internet activity. If I had kids, this would be priority one. Naturally, it would extend to your N1 when linked to wifi.

X3 Watch

There is also an accountability app out. It doesn't block sites but it will send a report to a friend of what sites you have visited. Then they can keep you accountable if you are seeking purity or show you if your child is accessing porn.

Here is a link:
