Hi, I'm Vietnamese too. Actually, you can use google translate. It's very accurate and easy to use, of course if you always have the internet. Otherwise, you can check this one out:

I tried for typing Vietnamese but many things missing, like ă, ấ, ắ, ạ, à, ả, ...

Please advise if you experienced.

I'm using this Vietnamese keyboard for my N1. Very happy with it.

gotiengviet.zip

Unzip the file, put it on your sd card then install it (remember to check the "unknown source" in Settings --> Applications). Then go to Settings --> Language & Keyboard, check "Go Tieng Viet" (you can modify some settings too). Then switch to Vietnamese keyboard by long pressing in any text field, choose Input Method and choose "Go Tieng Viet".

Is there an app that I can download on Eng / Viet Dictionary??? I prefer not to use Google Translate if theres a choice

You can download "Wordmate Dict" on Android Market and then download the StarDict Dictionaries from this page:

Browse Open Vietnamese Dictionary Project Files on SourceForge.net

After downloading them, unzip them, you will have a folder with 3 files that their formats look like this: xxxx.idx, xxxx.ifo and xxxx.dict.dz.
Use 7zip (Download) to unzip the file xxxx.dict.dz. You will have the file xxxx.dict. Now, copy the 3 files xxxx.idx, xxxx.ifo, and xxxx.dict into sdcard/wordmate on your phone.

There you go, enjoy!

I've done the unziping & safely keep it in my folder, awaiting for my X10 & install it there...
