Zooming, double-taps, and paragraph reflowing
I was curious about how double-tapping interacts with the pinch-to-zoom gesture in the new stock browser, so I did a little experimentation. It seems a bit odd to me. Here's what I've observed:
1. Zooming in using the "stretch" gesture does not reflow a column of text -- it leaves the lines longer than the screen is wide. 2. Double-tapping after zooming in reflows a text column to fit within the screen width. 3. A second double-tap zooms all the way out. 4. Zooming out using the "pinch" gesture does reflow a text column. 5. Double-tapping when zoomed all the way out works as it did before the update: it zooms in and reflows the text. I'm sure that's incomplete, so I'd be interested in other folks' observations. |
