How to get QR code reader/to install Kaspersky on Nexus S
Hello,
I searched for qr code and the results had nothing to do with QR code, so forgive me if this has been covered before. I have a Nexus S. I want to install the Kaspersky Security software that I have purchased for my phone, and at this website is says "Scan the QR code on this page with your smartphone. The Internet browser on your smartphone will automatically open kms.kaspersky.com." I called Samsung, they were of no help whatsoever. I googled it, found some videos, but I really can't see what app I need on the phone to be able to scan a QR code. It appears I do not have one on the phone. Can anyone walk me through this? I have never used a smart phone before. TIA edit, nevermind, I figured out how to do it... I downloaded google goggle, worked like a charm. Last edited by phlobot; 08-27-2011 at 08:02 PM. |

Glad you got it going, and welcome to the forum! I'll also recommend BarCode Scanner for reading QR codes. It's the only app I've ever used for that.
