Can you make skype calls?
Is there a skype version for android that allows you to make skype calls (over wifi or 3G). I heard that there is no skype version for android yet.

I can test it later (when i get home) and let you know if I got any problem with fring over wifi

OK, I checked it with wifi and it work fine too, i can make a call, i can see who is online and what application he using (messenger, skype, google talk etc)

I just installed fring (from the strength of what you guys were posting) seems to be working fine with my skype. Have not made a call yet, but was able to chat with some people and I could tell who was online.

Try Fring or Nimbuzz. They both work with Skype.

There is a new update available for Fring, to version 1.2.0.25
maybe they fix the offline/online bug in this version |

have anyone REALLY tried the N1 with the new Fring up-date....I am really interested to know how voice quality over 3G works thanks...( important to me)
