Upcoming homescreen replacement app: SlideScreen

Not my cup of tea as I love the default Android 2.1 homescreen but I'm sure someone out there will love to have something like this to replace their homescreen. Looks very slick.

Supposedly due out within a couple of days.

You'd have to really like it to purchase this one - its $7 on the market - most expensive home replacement yet!

Eh.

That would be nice for people who are very list oriented.....

But if I wanted all my info on lists, I'd use a piece of paper instead of a cellphone. :P It seems nice to have all your info in one place like that, but it masks the true beauty and capability of the phone.

Like if you want to show a friend your phone, you get to show off your AWESOME COLOR CODED LISTS.

I bought it. I love it. I'd encourage anyone to pick up the free version of it.

So I downloaded the trial version.....

It looks amazing. Very high res, great colors, and great UI. The slider is pretty cool, but the lack of homescreen cuts it for me. No visible widgets so its frankly really boring. It is a nice application, but I wouldn't use it as my home, and I wouldn't open the app to look at something I can look at from a widget 20x faster.

Good for someone on the go without care/need for bells and whistles.... Otherwise it makes the Nexus look BORING.
