Invisible Shield?

Should I get one yes or no?? Hardly drop my phone. But dont want scratches. If you have it could you leave me a tiny review or some feed back? I want the invisible shield because there is a mall cart near by.

I got the Invisible shield for the screen not the whole body. No way you can scratch this sucker. I think it makes the touch screen a little less slippery. And it has very minor orange peal (texture). Otherwise I'm glad I got it. I don't have to worry about the screen getting scratched nor do I ever have to change the shield. Other shields you have to replace once they get scratched. I haven't had any bubbling and I did the install my self (probably the third time I've done it on a phone.) Just make sure the phone screen is clean. I unboxed it and put the shield on, so I was sure it was clean.

If you purchase at Zagg.com you can get 20% off by using ZAGG20 promo code. If that doesn't work do a quick google search and you can find discount codes online. Don't buy it at BestBuy because they charge you twice as much.

I would NOT recommend it. I am only speaking for Ghost Armor here, but I imagine there is little difference.

I had them do a complete install at the mall of ghost armor. It was peeling that night, despite me spending 3 hours carefully smoothing out everything. Also (and maybe this is just me) the phone suddenly felt "cheap", like it was covered in crappy stickers or something. basically they had wrapped my phone in saran wrap. it maybe called "armor" or "shields" but it is actually just "stickers" or "crap"

I took it back and they replaced the parts that were peeling and replaced the screen protector to eliminate a squeegee streak but it was peeling an hour later. they replaced it again...peeling.

I had them remove all that crap and got a refund (still charged me $10 for labor)

then I put back on a $1.50 screen protector from amazon and have been happy. I just keep the phone in my pocket and am careful with it. I would not recommend ghost armor or anything like it (invisible shield) to anyone.

I have invisible shield (full bofy) installed for four months now. It is really good, protect the whole body, impossible to scratch and still no peeling. The only complaint is that it does get a lot of dust on the edges, but it is no deal-breaker.
Just be careful when installing it, because if there is any dust on the surface of the phone you'll get a bubble under the shield. A friend of mine installed it and I got a pair, now I have to live with it. Heard about some people who removed it and re-installed without problems, but it is so tightly installed that I don't have the courage to do so.
I definitely recommend it.
Cheers,
Daniel

Thumbs up InvisiShield/Zagg Shield

Don't bother with a full shield. I got just the screen cover. The body is already metal and won't scratch much anyway. I've used these screens on many devices, and they are amazing. You really can scratch them up with a key and it will leave NO mark at all. Enjoy.

Say no to invisible shield! Install is a real pain, I bought the full body kit. I didn't like the whole orange peel look and feel either. Lastly it's way overpriced. Go with Clearvu, Zagg = application liquid, squeegee, massive amounts of air pockets, wait two days for it to cure, residue to clean if you remove, cannot reuse once removed, sure sounds like a superior product to me. Clarivu = no messy liquids, squeegees, few if any air pockets, can uninstall, reinstall countless times!

Invisible Shield & Ghost Armor

I have used Invisible Shield & Ghost Armor products on four phones (1 blackberry & 3 Nexus Ones). The Invisible Shield (Zagg) applied onto the phone very well and there is some slight orange peel texture if you look very closely, however I was very satisfied on how it applied itself onto the surface and it is doing well for 6 months. I had the Ghost Armor product applied to a Blackberry and 2 Nexus Ones. On the Blackberry the Ghost lifted off just a little in two curved areas on the phone. The Ghost Armor application on the Nexus Ones went on well, has the upper right corner of the screen (sensor area) cut out, and is a little bit glossy (compared to the Invisible Shield). My children are 12 & 14 so I later added the Tough Case by Case-Mate (it uses a 2 piece layer method, soft inside & hard outer shell) in order to protect the N1s when the are dropped. I had the protective shields added to these N1s when I took them out the box. If someone cares about the phone always looking like new or the resale value then cost is worthwhile.

I bought the "Best Shield Ever" full body kit and installed it 2 days ago.

Cell Phone Skins & Protective Covers - iPhone Skins, Blackberry Skins, iPod Skins, Apple Laptop Skins - Best Skins Ever

I am not affiliated in anyway by the way.

It was not simple to install by any means and the instructions are only online.

I WOULD do it again, Less phone slippage in the hand and the end-results were satifactory. Phone looks nice too.

Also, with a little wiggle-waggle, the phone still fits in the Google Desktop Dock.
