Battery empry in 4 hours after placing screen protector
Two days ago i placed a screen protector on my brand new Nexus One.
Within 4 hours, my battery was empty. That must be a coincidence, you might say. Well, I thought the same thing, but after I reloaded my battery completely (in the evening) my alarm did'nt go off in the morning because.... Empty battery! Now i've removed the screen protector, and reloaded my battery, again. It's been 6 hours, and still a FULL battery. I think because of the the screen protector, my N1 couldn't get rid of it's warmth or something. Anyone had the same problem?? |

+1 ############ @sassiewas check your battery stats in the menu/settings you'll see whats wasting that much battery. It could be an app or something which prevents the phone from sleeping. Get a taskkiller to kill the apps you dont use. Its not needed at all for android phones because Linux manages the background apps itself but sometimes there are apps which dont let the phone sleep.

N1s don't need a screen protector anyway. The screen is made of glass, not plastic. There is even a video floating around youtube on a scratch test being done with keys. Not one mark on it.
Unless you rub a diamond against it you have nothing to worry about. Keep in mind it will break if you crush it, but it won't scratch from everyday use.

is it possible that the screen protector could be causing the phone to think you are touching the screen when in reality it is just the screen protector? Just a thought, im not up on all of the touchscreen technologies and how they decipher between your pocket, a case, and your finger.

Take off the screen protector and see if there are any changes.
