Good in-Ear Headphones with mic and volume control
Many headsets come with a microphone but not with volume control. A volume control and pause/play button with the mic are necessary for me. Apple includes it on their stock headphones. I can't find a third party solution anywhere.

Does anyone else think having volume control on the headset is important so you don't have to fish the phone out of your pocket every time you want to adjust the volume?

Where can I find one?

I asked the same question regarding headset volume control a few weeks ago. It remains unanswered, so I continue to assume that the Nexus One does not support this function.

I haven't heard of one yet either but would definitely be interested. Anyone???? I've got the Nu Force NE-7M's which sound great but alas, no volume control. I wouldn't compromise sound quality for it but if I could have my cake and eat it too, that would be great!

Try Sennheiser. They are way cheaper on ebay.

I don't think it's a problem with Nexus One or Android. The problem is no manufacturer makes the headphones with volume control. It doesn't seem like it is complicated. For some reason they don't recognise the need.

Some people like me, don't want to deal with the extra hassle of pairing and charging a bluetooth device. I tried the Jabra bletooth dog tag and I hated it.

A simple solution is just to make standard headphones with mic and volume control built-in. Even Apple has volume control and mic on their mediocre stock earphones. I don't understand why other manufacturers don't do it.
