32GB MicroSd card???
In all of the product specs, it is said the NexusOne can use up to 32gb microsd?
Would using a card of that size slow down the processor? I had a Treo a longgggg time ago, and I had a 2gb card which was big back then  But it slowed down picture uploading and saving because of all the pictures I had. Would 32gb run as fast as other on the Snapdragon? Otherwise, I will be getting a 16gb which is much cheaper. Has anyone tried a 32gb microsd? I'm seeing complaints about failure after a few months.

Who really needs 32GB in a phone?
I don't know snapdragon but it'll be slower for sure!

I agree who needs a 32 GB card but there is no reason that it would be any slower. Its random access memory. There are no moving parts. The size of the drive should have no impact on the speed.

Agreed, the size of the card should have no impact on speed. Having 32GB would be great for movie and music storage.

I tend to buy all my tech accessories off of Amazon, and I'm having trouble even locating a 32 GB microSD card there. I see a couple of 32 gig standard sized SD cards, but no microSD.
No matter, I'm sure they'll be around eventually, and then more eventually at a price I'll find worthy to replace the pair of 8 GB ones I have with me now. |
