Yes, the Snapdragon Processor supports microSD HC Cards. Go for the SanDisk HC microSD Cards. I don't think 32GB MicroSD card is available in market yet.

Samsung is apparently starting production next month of 32gb micro cards, and will ship a few weeks later. I expect them to be quite expensive at first

Samsung Announces First 32 GB MicroSD Memory Cards

They will be using a new 30nm technology (while 16gb cards use 40nm).

I just bought a 32gb sandisk off ebay for $20 (the posting has been removed since), and i am noticing that it is way way slower than the 4gb that was shipped with the phone.

now since it was from ebay it may not be a real sandisk and it may be a slower class card than what was in the phone to begin with so i'm not sure what might be the problem.

so far it's not affecting video or audio playback, just loading the gallery thumbnails are really slow.

There is no reason a larger card would slower down your phone, unless your using a low class card, such as using a lower class than what came with your phone

Class 2: 16 Mbit/s (2 MB/s)
Class 4: 32 Mbit/s (4 MB/s)
Class 6: 48 Mbit/s (6 MB/s)
Class 10: 80 Mbit/s (10 MB/s)
