You know what's really amazing. I admittedly had some serious iPhone envy, but refused to switch to AT&T. That was until November of last year when the Moto Droid came out. Now this will be on Verizon too. Now I really couldn't care less when the iPhone arrives, which is supposedly this year.

verizon is saying they wont sell the N1 them selves, it will be sold by google. so does that mean it will be unlocked at $500

I would expect it to be under contract to Verizon, as the TMobile version is today.

thats what i would think also but i just read that here check it out.

Verizon says future Google Nexus One will run on its network, but will not be sold by Verizon
