No, Nexus one can not play Divx, Xvid, AVI, follow is the video, audio format workable in Nexus One.
Video: H.263, MPEG-4 SP, H.264 AVC Audio decoders: AAC LC/LTP, HE-AACv1 (AAC+), HE-AACv2 (enhanced AAC+), AMR-NB, AMR-WB9, MP3, MIDI SMF, Ogg Vorbis, WAVE (8-bit and 16bit PCM) So if you want to play divx or xvid video on Nexus one, you need get a video converter which can decode divx and xivd file and then encode to mp4 with h.264, aac, that is to say, you need to convert divx and xvid files to mp4 for nexus one. More detail, you can check this guide, i just do it successfully based on it. |

yxflash works pretty well for playing divx/avi's. You can download a free trial from the market.
