hi -
thanks for getting back to me. when i did this last night, none of the videos on my phone showed up and the 300 or so pictures i have on my phone, were duplicated many times over. the last time i downloaded vidoe, they all converted to jpeg. i'm not sure if i need a certain app on my computer or what to actually do...

In order to display a preview of an image or video, your phone creates thumbnails, and everytime you move an image etc your phone will create a new thumbnail...

Your pics and videos should be in the DCIM folder, so check to make sure you're looking at the actual files, and not the thumbnails...

DCMI Folder

thanks for responding. I am sure I will sound obtuse, but is the DCMI folder on the computer or the cell phone?

thanks for your response. when i did this last night, many different applications came up and I didn't know which one to open during the transfer process. however, i never saw any pictures or videos that could be dragged. they were thousands of thumbnails, all duplicates, and video wasn't showing up.

You might want to download doubleTwist to your PC. It is a little slow but will help with file transfers. The app now has wifi synching compatablity as well. I use it as well as the drag and drop method.
