N1 on EDGE getting crappy upload/download speeds
I have an N1 and when I do speed tests I am getting anywhere from 40-60 on the upload and download results.
I am in a EDGE only area, but they should be better. I also have a good signal showing full bars. My only concern in the AT&T settings on the phone. Do they need to be tweaked? I haven't adjusted anything since I have had it. Other phone on the network with by sim don't seem slow, but the N1 does. Any suggestions? |

Suggestions? Check and see what other carriers support your area.
I had the same difficulty on AT&T's EDGE so I moved to T-Mobile. Been getting great 3G speeds ever since. Some carriers do bad in some areas, some do great in the same area. All depends on your location. |

If you are in EDGE only area their isn't much you can do about your data speeds. Unless you can connect to wifi. I will trade you a unlocked HD2 for your Nexus One. Then you won't have to worry about edge or 3g.

Slow speeds should be expected with an edge connection. It has always been slow...
