Advise on the plan for AT&T

Hi Guys

I have ordered the Nexus one ( At&t version ) and am waiting for the delivery ( which is tomorrow ) ). I am currently using a prepaid At&t connection.

1) Once I receive the phone ... will I be able to use the Data connection ? I have currently paid 60$ for unlimited text/talk on the prepaid plan.

2) Which plan is the best for the long term AT&T contract ? ( and I think I will use google voice)

Any advice would be appreciated .

3) I am currently in Madison,WI . What is the speed I can expect on a 3G network if connected so that I am sure I don't have 3G issues on my phone ?

Thanks

If you are going to sign up for a post paid account and not stay on prepaid you can get unlimited everything for $99 per month. You could continue to use your pre pay though. 3g in Madison is about 1.5meg download. That is what i got back in march on state st. Its about average for 3g.

Thanks jakkzen for the reply. Doesn't AT&T have subsidized plan for the Nexus one like t-mobile has?

$10 is the data plan for a nexus one. Basically it breaks down to this. $69 unlimited calling + $30 unlimited text and data.
