How Much Memory
I have a new nexus one and love it better than my iphone now the
question is i only have 4 downloaded programs not big ones and have 165mb left on memory can you download programs to memory card how much do you have left

search the forums sparky. But, unless you root it, you wont be able to save them to the memory card. It is rumored that an update will let you do that with out having to root.

If you root your phone you can use a custom ROM(ie cyanogen) and install apps on your SD if it is a must.

it certainly is a must. I have over 60 apps installed with a lot of them being several mb each and my system storage hasn't been touched.

What is the reason behind the original design decision to only install to the phone's memory and not the SD card?

Can you save your old rom in a file if you have to send your phone in
you can put it back or once it is rooted that's it i don't want to have a $529.00 paperweight
