But you can use apps2sd without rooting I believe.
What advantage is there in rooting in this case? |

Lethalduck, when not rooted, apps2sd allows you to move only the apps which developers have enabled this feature and only on 2.2 and higher. You can do this without app2sd as well in this case (though apps2sd shows you which can be moved). Root allows you to move any of them.
