HTC told me the only different is the receiver so maybe Google wil offer to upgrade our receiver* hardware for a reasonable price

Google representative also told me that is aware of the situation, hopefully in the future they will offer a solution, But of course the bigger the Issue the faster they will resolve it.

In an ideal world, Google would offer the ability to swap out phones for those that are interested. However, I dont see it happening.

They should have built the Nexus One so that it would work on all carriers. Then you would really have the freedom to choose your carrier.
